Big update: we have our presentation almost finished! It looks great thanks to Chris' PowerPoint talent and everyone's information. Then we went through some gifts we plan to take to Germany for our hosts and talked about other items we still need to do as the time for preparation winds down and departing becomes closer!
I believe Becky is farthest along with learning Germany at this time, but I know I am excited that I can introduce myself and say nice to meet you and looking forward to learning more.
Once we finished going everything at our meeting, Lauch took us to lunch at Cafe Lu Lu and took the time to snap a pick of our group:
After a yummy and fun lunch, we then went shopping. Michael and Chris found great looking suit jackets right away...whereas the resulting quest for Becky, Amanda, and myself took us all over the mall! But in the process, it really let us bond more. Spending that time together on this day having a social lunch and an epic shopping trip is as vital as the "business" aspects of preparing for our trip; we are becoming great friends and I am very much looking forward to our adventure together in Germany!
